Welcome To My PR Journey!

Hey Blogosphere! I've arrived! Although I've never been a big believer in airing my views, opinions and happenings on an open forum I guess nowadays everybody has to know everything about everybody! I hope you will find my blog entertaining, engaging and thought provoking! I have tons of ideas running around in my mind so don't be scared if I come up with some out there stuff! It's just the way I am!

Enough of the diatribe (babbling for you laypeople). My name is Jeremy Bird and I am a student in the Post Grad Public Relations program at Loyalist College. I graduated on the Dean's List from the Business Administration program here. Over the summer, I worked as an Economic Development Assistant for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). There were tons of highlights including getting to travel all over Ontario (I went to places like Guelph, Kitchener/Waterloo, Beaverton...the list goes on) and discussing communications strategies with a Queen's PhD!

I'm going to conclude my first ever blog entry by posting one of my all time favourite songs! If I ever feel down and out and need a boost, I always play this song! It literally energizes me! I have the song on CD and I've had the pleasure of hearing it live. If you listen to the song right to the end, note how Doug "Cosmo" Clifford, the lead drummer plays starting at 4:35. One of my life goals is to play the drums just like that! Enjoy!
